Do You Know Where Your Vehicles Are?

Keeping up with the location of your vehicles can sometimes feel like a game of "Where's Waldo?," especially if you aren't monitoring their whereabouts.
But what do you do if an emergency service call comes in and all of your drivers are out in the field? If you're thinking a simple phone call will do the trick, you may want to reconsider. With the DOT ruling banning hand-held cell phone use in commercial vehicles, not only will your driver face a hefty fine, so will your business. So what do you do?
NexTraq's closest vehicle functionality lets you locate and send the closest vehicle to a new service call or emergency. You can even send directions with NexTraq's Fleet Dispatch application, which uses an in-vehicle Garmin® device. Responding quickly to service calls and providing accurate ETAs will improve your customer service levels.
"Two vehicles can be very close together, but in different zones. If we can find the closest vehicle to a service call, we dispatch that vehicle and provide better customer service and faster ETAs." -- Jeffery Allison, IT Administrator for Estes Heating & Air Conditioning
