Trinity Wiring Solutions Increases Efficiencies with NexTraq® Fleet Tracking.

Challenge

Established in 2002, Trinity Wiring Solutions offers a wide array of security and wiring solutions to safeguard both businesses and homes. Interested in automating his manual processes, Noel Murphy, Vice President of Operations for Trinity Wiring Solutions, took part in another company’s beta testing of a GPS fleet management solution. Murphy found the solution to be cumbersome but decided to look at other fleet tracking providers after realizing the potential benefits.

Solution

Murphy ultimately selected the NexTraq® Fleet Tracking solution because he wanted a “fully-proven system.” He is also implementing the NexTraq® Connect™ app’s Time & Attendance module in a phased approach. Murphy uses the messaging feature to communicate electronically and to accurately verify hours worked.

Results

Murphy said, “I love the NexTraq Connect mobile app along with the reports because it’s a wonderful fit for what we do. Not all technicians come into the office. The Time & Attendance module enables employees to clock in and out from anywhere.”

Additionally, Murphy likes the ability to track overtime hours. He said, “We are saving money in overtime hours as managers have a much tighter focus on validating hours worked.”

Knowing where his resources are at any given moment is also a big benefit for Murphy. Another favorite feature? Murphy said, “The real-time alerts are great. I have them set up for speeding incidents and also have an alert for when vehicles are pulling into the building. It’s really improved our efficiency.”
