Industrial, commercial, and residential HVAC company integrates fleet management solution with Compusource’s Ascente field service software to streamline operations.
Conditioned Air needed to move from separate solutions to one integrated fleet management solution to ensure it had all the functionality it needed to provide superior service to its customers.
- Increased productivity by 15%
- Streamlined business operations with integration
- Improved mapping functionality
- Reduced overtime hours
Established in 1938, Conditioned Air, Inc., provides quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning service, both in Macon and throughout Middle Georgia. Conditioned Air was looking for a GPS fleet tracking solution that could integrate with Compusource Ascente field service software which they used for its general ledger and job cost functionality. Evan Ayoub, Projects Director for Conditioned Air, said, “We wanted to move from separate solutions to one integrated solution to ensure we had all the functionality we needed to provide superior service to our customers.”
Ayoub and the team looked at several fleet management solutions before selecting the NexTraq® GPS Fleet Tracking solution. He said, “Several of the solutions we looked at had complicated user interfaces and outdated mapping technology. The NexTraq solution provided a clean interface that is easy to use and has advanced Google® Maps functionality. We also had an outstanding experience with our sales representative.”
With a great relationship with their sales representative and implementation that was completed in one day, Ayoub notes that ramp-up time was quick. The instantaneous integration of the NexTraq GPS Fleet Tracking solution and Compusource field service software has increased productivity by up to 15%.
Ayoub said, “The mapping functionality really helped out our dispatcher who was initially unfamiliar with some of our service area. Now, she is able to send the closest vehicle to a service call to increase our overall fleet productivity.”
Additionally, Ayoub mentions that the NexTraq solution has increased overall employee accountability. He said, “We are a family-oriented business, so we don’t have many issues with drivers. If, however, there is a driver problem, we can easily identify and provide the proper counseling.”
Conditioned Air also uses both solutions to monitor vehicle idling time and lower the number of overtime hours.
It’s easy to see why Conditioned Air has been a premier, full-service HVAC provider for more than 75 years.
Ayoub said, “Our company operates based on the concept of ‘Single Source Responsibility.’ We do everything it takes to solve our customers’ heating and air conditioning difficulties.” With the focus on putting the customer first, NexTraq and Conditioned Air share the same goal – increasing customer service levels and continuing to use technology to innovate and improve business operations.
